Jim Beam is tying into the new Yankee Stadium with marketing efforts themed, ”””‚¬Å¡¬Å¡¬Å””‚¬Å¡¬Å”‚¬Å“One Bronx, One Bourbon.”””‚¬Å¡¬Å¡¬®®®®® The new Red Stag is made with Jim Beam Bourbon infused with natural black cherry flavors, which produces a flavorful spirit that is great for creating lots of different cocktails, which was the point of the event. The assorted bartenders, journalists and others at the Yankees-Mets game competed in creating their own signature cocktails using Red Stag. Among the judges on hand was seventh-generation distiller Fred Noe. The winner: Jonathan Pogash, a mixologist and consultant who goes by the moniker The Cocktail Guru. Oh, and the other winner was the Yankees, who stole the game in the bottom of the ninth on an error by the Amazin”””‚¬Å¡¬Å¡¬””’‚¬Å¡¬Å¾¢s.
