Bacardi Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron

Bacardi will officially launch Bacardi Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron, a new super-premium mixing rum, at the 2015 James Beard Foundation Awards in Chicago on May 4.

Paying tribute to its rich history and heritage, Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron is named after the Maestros de Ron (Master Blenders) that have safeguarded the secrets of the family’s rum-making process for more than 150 years. Inspired by the pursuit of creating the ultimate white mixing rum, Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron is crafted and double-aged using white oak casks that impart soft notes of oak, creating a spirit with a smooth taste, according to the company.

Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron will be served at the James Beard Foundation Awards. Guests will be able to explore the rum through crafted cocktails, including the JBF Bramble and Chicago Cielo, created specifically for the event.
