Nolet Family Celebrates 325 Years with Commemorative Ketel One Bottle, Brand Campaign

Joannes Nolet first opened his family distillery’s doors in Schiedam, Holland in 1691, and its traditions have passed down from father to son for 11 generations.

To commemorate 325 years of distilling excellence at the Nolet Family Distillery, Ketel One vodka has released a limited-edition bottle and new brand campaign. Moreover, Carl Nolet Sr. (pictured above right), 10th Generation Master Distiller and Creator of Ketel One vodka, will host a global celebration at the Nolet Family Distillery next May.

“Our father has always taught us, as his father did before him, ‘Quality before everything,’” said Carl Nolet Jr., 11th Generation of the Nolet Family.

The Nolet Family Distillery 325th Anniversary Bottle is now available nationwide.

The commemorative bottle is dressed in copper matte plating as a nod to the role copper pot distillation plays in creating Ketel One vodka. The ironwork-inspired design featured on the front and back of the bottle represents the ironwork above the entrance to the distillery in Holland.

For the first time, the 11th generation, Carl Nolet Jr. and Bob Nolet (pictured above left), will have their signatures featured on the bottle.

Ketel One vodka will also launch a new brand campaign filmed in and around the Nolet Family Distillery in Schiedam, Holland.

The campaign, Our Life’s Work, includes 30- and 15-second executions that will appear across broadcast, digital and social media platforms beginning this week.

A 90-second film will live on the brand’s website.

Our Life’s Work includes a spot dedicated to reminding consumers to drink responsibly.

For many years, the Nolet Family Distillery has opened its doors to tens of thousands of visitors. Nolet Sr. will host a celebration there with family, friends and the Nolet’s “extended family” of bartenders.

  1. I am a fairly new lover of Ketel One Vodka. Ketel One has been my choice of beverage for the past five years. I truly enjoy this vodka. I tried many other vodka’s and the out come almost made me turn to gin until I was introduces to Ketel One and since then I have not looked back. I had no intention on entering the 325th Anniversary celebration but I happen to read this prize entry instead of throwing it away and I just wanted to comment on how much I enjoy Ketel One. Keep up the excellent work.

  2. I was a “random” vodka drinker until my husband displayed his absolute preference for Kettle One. Once I joined him in his indulgence, I now too, ask for Kettle One by name. It is smoother & better tasting as a straight or mixed drink & will continue to be my preference as well.
