Novo Fogo Single-Barrel Cachaças

Novo Fogo has announced a new line of single-barrel cachaças.

Their Brazilian cachaça is made at a zero-waste distillery just meters from the edge of the Atlantic Rainforest in southern state of Paraná from estate-grown organic sugarcane.

The single-barrel expressions reflect product from the best of their barrels. Only 204-372 bottles of each barrel-aged expression will be available across the country.

The four latest expressions from Novo Fogo carry age statements ranging from 1-5 years. They are:

Single-Barrel Cachaça, Barrel 86: Aged for just one year in a single oak barrel, this honey colored expression consists of a total of 372 bottles. During its aging process, this expression picked up butterscotch tones with hints of honeydew melon and coffee cake. Proof: 96 (48% ABV). SRP: $49.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
