Trumpeter Rosé

Drink pink this holiday season with Trumpeter Rosé from Rutini Wines of Argentina. Made from 100% Malbec, Trumpeter Rosé is the newest U.S. release by Winemaker Mariano Di Paola.

Inspired by Provence style, Trumpeter Rosé is characterized by its floral profile, the company says, with notes of cherry, strawberry and a hint of citrus. The grapes are 100% hand-harvested in the middle of the night to preserve freshness.

Fermentation occurs for 14 days in stainless steel conical tanks, one of the eight different styles of fermentation tanks that Di Paola has developed for the winery. The wine is aged on the lees for 10 days to maintain its refreshing and fruit-forward quality, the company says.

Trumpeter Rosé retails for a suggested price of $12.99 per 750-ml. bottle. It pours well alongside traditional holiday dishes, the company says, from cranberry sauce to sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie.
