Egan’s Irish Whiskey has announced its newest expression: Vintage Grain.
The new expression will be the brand’s second released to the U.S. market following the launch of Egan’s Single Malt in 2015. It will be available nationwide as part of the Intrepid Spirits portfolio, with concentrated distribution in select markets.
Vintage Grain is made from a single grain, and aged for at least eight years in American bourbon barrels. Bottled at 92-proof and non-chilled filtered to retain its character, this gold-colored spirit has notes of vanilla and fudge both on the nose and on the palate, the company reports. The finish includes a hint of spice and subtle oak.
Egan’s Vintage Grain is available in a 750-ml. bottle for a suggested retail price of $45.

Vintage Tullamore
1½ oz Egan’s Vintage Grain
1½ oz Sweet Vermouth
¾ oz Campari
2 dashes of orange bitters
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
