Xavier Flouret Wines – new wine: Waroo 2009 from Western Australia

Dear Sir, Madam,

I am reaching out to you as we have just recently released Waroo 2009. It is the latest addition to the Xavier Flouret Wines selection, a curated portfolio of terroir-oriented wines from family owned vineyards.
Xavier Flouret Wines make it easy to navigate the world of wines, while knowing that you can expect authentic artisan wines.

Waroo 2009 is a unique Shiraz produced by Fonty’€™s Pool in Pemberton, Western Australia, just south-east of Margaret River, where 85 percent of the land remains under native vegetation with eucalyptus forests.
Pemberton has a warm maritime climate, however the Shiraz at Fonty’€™s Pool is planted at an altitude of 250 meters with a slight elevation to the southern end which provide both a cooling influence and a great exposure to the sun.

Here is how the winemaker, Bernie Stanlake, describes the wine:
Colour: bright and vibrant, youthful deep red with magenta tones.
Aroma: Brambly, red berry freshness, with a suggestion of white pepper and spice.
Palate: Soft, expressive, mouth-filling and fresh. Pure-fruited impact with earthy red berries, savoury tones and crisp acidity. It has cool climate character with generosity yet is neither broad or imposing. The oak is carefully integrated, tannins are fine and stately and the flavour is persistent and refined.

I would be pleased to send you a bottle of Waroo 2009 and have your feedback on it.
Let me know.
Best Regards,
