- Rumchata New Sizes
Rumchata is now available in 1.75-ml., 1-liter, 375-ml. and 50-ml. sizes. The cream liqueur has sold more than two million of its 750-ml. bottles since 2009, one million of which have shipped in the first six months of 2012.
- U.S. Wine Consumption Continues to Climb
The wine industry is maintaining its upswing: According to the Beverage Information Group’s recently released 2012 Wine Handbook, wine consumption gained 3.0% to reach 312.4 million 9-liter cases in 2011.
- Newly Acquired AB Beer Given National Availability
Goose Island Beer, which Anheuser-Busch InBev bought in 2011, will soon be available in all 50 states. The Chiacgo-area beer will continue to be brewed in its original location.
- Pernod Ricard Announces Passing of Patrick Ricard
The son of the company’s founder passed away on Friday. He was born in 1945. Details regarding his funeral and an upcoming tribute to him will be forthcoming from the company.
