Miller Fortune

MillerCoors has debuted Miller Fortune, which the company says was developed to be consumed during spirits occasions, even suggesting that it be consumed in a rocks glass. Because of that statement, there was a misunderstanding among the national press, with some major press outlets declaring that the brew is “bourbon-like” or “made with bourbon.” That is not the case: Miller Fortune is brewed with roasted caramel malt and cascade hops, a golden lager that is unlike most lagers in that it contains 6.9% alcohol by volume. The launch is being supported by a major marketing campaign; it is available in 6-pack ($6.99 suggested retail) and 12-pack black bottles, and 16-oz. and 24-oz. gray cans at retailers nationwide.
