On Thursday, Feb. 19, Casamigos Tequila was the title sponsor of Casamigos Tequila Presents Tacos After Dark with chef Aaron Sanchez.
The event took place as part of South Beach Food and Wine Festival and hosted over 600 people at the Loews Hotel. The evening featured 15 chefs, five of which (Sanchez, Todd English, Ingrid Hoffman, Jose Garces and Richard Sandoval) who cooked with Casamigos Tequilas.
Cocktails Served:
Spicy Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita
1½ oz. Casamigos Blanco Tequila
1/3 oz. Cointreau
1/3 oz. Simple syrup
3/4 oz. Fresh lime juice
3 Cucumber wheels
1 Jalapeño slice
Muddle cucumber, jalapeno, lime juice and syrup. Combine all ingredients into iced mixing glass. Shake vigorously for 10 count. Fine strain all contents into a rocks glass w/wo salted rim. Garnish with cucumber and jalapeño slice
Casamigos Paloma
1½ oz. Casamigos Reposado Tequila
3/4 oz. Fresh grapefruit juice
1/3 oz. Fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. Agave nectar
Splash with Grapefruit soda
Shake in a shaker and pour over ice.
Casamigos Margarita
1½ oz. Casamigos Blanco Tequila
¾ oz. Fresh lime juice
¼ oz. Fresh orange juice
½ oz. Agave nectar
Shake ingredients with ice then strain and serve on the rocks. Garnish with an orange wedge
