Narragansett Del’s Shandy, Summer Ale

Narragansett Beer is releasing seasonals early with their Summer Ale and the Rhode Island mash up, Narragansett Del’s Shandy.

Narragansett’s Summer Ale is Beer Advocate’s highest-rated summer ale in New England. The light session ale is made with two row pale malt, citra, galaxy and Chinook hops, and has aromas of citrus and passion fruit. The Summer Ale has only 24 IBUs and 4.2 percent ABV.

Back for another year, Del’s Shandy mixes Narragansett’s lager and the tart lemon extract from Del’s Frozen Lemonade. After selling out of Del’s Shandy within days in summer 2014, this year, Narragansett has increased production.
