The newest expression to the range, Cuvée 1880 pays homage to the year that Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge was created by founder Louis Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle. Made with XO Cognac aged up to 60 years sourced from the Grande Champagne region of France, the liquid features the Grand Marnier orange essence, the company says, with a cognac-forward experience. The bottle and packaging take historic style cues from the Belle Epoque era and allude to what Grand Marnier bottles looked like at that time. Each bottle and its packaging is hand finished and takes nearly six hours to complete.
Available in limited annual release, Quintessence is a premier blend of rare Grand Fine Champagne XO Cognacs and a double distillation of Grand Marnier’s orange parfum. Made with XO Cognac aged up to 100 years sourced from the Marnier family’s private Paradis reserve, only 1,000 bottles a year are made available in the U.S. Quintessence recently received a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
