Budweiser Kicks Off Monument Series with Mary J. Blige in NYC Harbor

Budweiser kicked off its first ever Monument Series on the evening of Sunday, June 21, with music experiences on Liberty Island and Governor’s Island in the New York City harbor.

BMIA-SOL-0269On Liberty Island, nine-time Grammy Award winner Mary J. Blige performed for sweepstakes winners. Meanwhile at Governors Island, guests enjoyed an evening of Budweiser, burgers, music and giveways in an intimate setting, the company said, with views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan.

The night there kicked off with tunes from Misterwives and Big Gigantic, followed by a last minute drawing for attendees to take a private ferry to Liberty Island to see Blige. Guests were also able to experience a first of its kind 4D hologram of Blige’s performance projected over the Hudson River.
