Original Sin Extra Dry Cider

New York State continues to produce premium ciders.

Original Sin Cider had announced the release of Original Sin Extra Dry Cider. Produced in New York from one of the state’s 694 commercial orchards, this new beverage is made from 100% freshly pressed New York apples, a first for the company.

Original Sin Extra Dry Cider will initially be available starting Jan. 10, 2016, in seven select states: Washington DC, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Florida, and North Carolina. The national launch in more than 30 states including New York will commence in April 2016.

The cider is session able at 5.5% ABV, minimal residual sugar for a drier pub-style alternative. Original Sin Founder Gidon Coll tested a range of New York apple varieties for this cider, before settling on a blend that includes Ida Red, MacIntosh, Jonagold, and several russeted apples.

Original Sin Extra Dry Cider will be available as a 4-pack with 16-oz. cans at a suggested retail price of $10.49.
