The Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn has selected the Stamford-Connecticut based sales and marketing company United States Beverage to import their beers into America.
Innis & Gunn is known for their oak-aged and craft beers. The move will “support the brand’s ambitious plans for long-term growth, expansion into new states and greater brand awareness within the US market,” the company said in a press release.
Sales and marketing for the Innis & Gunn brands had previously been managed by the brewer’s affiliate, Innis & Gunn USA, and will transfer to United States Beverage on April 1, 2016.
“The team at US Beverage have an exceptional track record in building brands and we are thrilled to be working with them,” said Dougal Sharp, Founder & Master Brewer of Innis & Gunn, in a press release. “Working together will help us better meet the demand for Innis & Gunn products from bars, restaurants and liquor stores and allow for increased promotional programming and consumer marketing on a greater scale.”
Sharp praised Innis & Gunn USA Manager Dan Deluca, who will remain in that role in the new partnership with United States Beverage.
The import portfolio for United States Beverage also includes Moosehead Lager and Radler, Murphy’s Stout and Red Ale, and Tiger Beer from Singapor.
“Innis & Gunn has built an innovative and exceptional craft beer brand that provides differentiation and excitement to the highly competitive U.S. beer market,” said Justin Fisch, VP/ General Manager of United States Beverage, in a press release. “We are fully committed to ensuring its future success in the US market.”
