Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has added two new flavors to its current family lineup. Rebel Yell Ginger Whiskey and Rebel Yell Root Beer Whiskey, both bottled at 70 proof, became available nationwide in April.
These new flavors join the recently updated Rebel Yell family of corked, 750-ml. bottles, now made of thicker glass.
Rebel Yell Ginger Whiskey combines the taste of Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey with ginger – an ideal option for mule cocktails or to add a zesty twist. For a creamier flavor, Rebel Yell Root Beer Whiskey combines Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey with root beer flavor for a rich taste with a touch of spice.
The suggested retail price for these whiskies is $16.99-$19.99.
“Whiskey is currently experiencing an explosive period of growth,” says Fletcher Buchman, brand manager at Luxco, which produces the Rebel Yell brand. “The domestic whiskey category is up 4.1 percent; the flavored whiskey category is up 11.4 percent; and Rebel Yell continues to grow even faster, up 27.8 percent in the past 12 months.”
“Innovative, on-trend flavors are a great way to introduce this time-honored brand to millennial whiskey drinkers and add more variety to our offerings,” he adds.
This summer, Rebel Yell is launching its Rebels Uncaged promotion, where participants can enter to win one of four custom-built motorcycles. Each motorcycle will capture the spirit of its builder and of Rebel Yell. The four custom motorcycles are being built by four nationally-recognized builders, including Analog (Chicago), Gasser Customs (Los Angeles), Revival (Austin, Texas), and Classified Moto (Richmond, Virginia).
Entries will be accepted online at www.rebelsuncaged.com from June 1 until September 30, 2016.
The brand is also revamping its loyalty program, Band of Rebels, which is a fellowship of loyal Rebel Yell fans and supporters. The program will offer more engagement with members, an updated welcome kit, exclusive member e-newsletters as well as great gifts and gear. Fans can sign up at www.bandofrebels.com.
