Smirnoff Continues Support Of EDM With New Documentary

Supporting electronic dance music (EDM) has been fashionable recently in the alcohol industry, including the Smirnoff Sound Collective. The brand continued its EDM support today with the newest release in its “Tribes” video series, entitled “Tribes: Dirtybird.”

This 14-minute documentary takes a behind-the-scenes look at the members of Dirtybird, an American house record label originally based out of San Francisco, and now Los Angeles. Dirtybird was founded by DJ Claude VonStroke (pictured atop), who was recently named “America’s Best DJ” by DJ Times.

“Dirtybird perfectly embodies what the Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about,” explains Justin Medcraft, Smirnoff Global Senior Brand Manager, in a press release. “We think Dirtybird represents the best parts of electronic music through the community it has created and the positive environment the artists create for fans everywhere.”
