Tommyrotter Distillery has started distribution and sale of its spirits in Pennsylvania.

In July of 2016, founders Bobby Finan and Sean Insalaco, traveled to Harrisburg, PA to appeal directly to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) to carry Tommyrotter’s products.  After a multi-month review process, Tommyrotter products are now available on Pennsylvania shelves.

“Entering Pennsylvania was certainly a learning experience as we had never done business in a control state before,” says Finan in a press release. “We’re excited to continue our expansion into neighboring states and work towards our goal of becoming a strong Northeastern regional brand.”

The PLCB oversees more than 600 retail outlets known as ‘Fine Wine & Good Spirits’ stores. Tommyrotter’s flagship product, its American Gin, can be purchased in 51 Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores across the state that focus on a premium collection of spirits.

Tommyrotter’s Cask Strength Bourbon Barrel Gin and Small Batch Vodka can be special-ordered to Pennsylvania state stores or restaurants by way of private brokerage firm, The Wine Merchant, headquartered in King of Prussia, PA.

Tommyrotter Distillery opened in July of 2015 in the historic Hydraulics district of Buffalo, New York. The distillery is inspired by the Tommyrotters’ Club, a band of artisans in the early 20th century.
