Absolut has officially unveiled Absolut Lime as the newest addition to its citrus vodka portfolio, joining Absolut Citron and Absolut Mandrin. It’s the brand’s first new flavored product since launching Absolut Cilantro in 2013.
The move would suggest that Absolut and its parent company Pernod Ricard are not quite ready yet to pronounce flavored vodkas dead.
“Lime is a very dynamic and complex fruit and we believe we’ve created the perfect flavor blend in Absolut Lime to enhance and elevate a variety of cocktails,” says Nick Guastaferro, Director of Marketing, Absolut, Pernod Ricard USA, in a press release.
Absolut Lime is available nationwide for an suggested retail price of of $19.99 per 750-ml. bottle and $24.99 per 1-L.
In addition to hitting on-premise destinations and retail stores nationwide, Absolut Lime will also be a sponsor of the 59th Grammy Awards on February 12, 2017.
