Southern Glazer’s Announces New SVP, National Accounts, Off Premise

Wine and spirits distributor Southern Glazer’s today announced that Scott Moore has been appointed Senior Vice President, National Accounts, Off Premise.

The move is effective April 1, 2017.

In his new role, Moore will be responsible for all Southern Glazer’s off premise supplier planning, as well as driving development and implementation of customer annual operating plans and supporting the retail leadership team at the customer level to drive strategy through inventory and supply planning, information technology, consumer and digital insights and category management initiatives. Moore will report directly to Shawn Thurman, Executive Vice President, National Accounts.

Moore brings more than 25 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry to Southern Glazer’s, the company says. He began his career with Seagram as a Retail Account Manager in 1989. His most recent role with Pernod Ricard was Vice President and General Manager, US Chains, On/Off Premise and Military. Moore has also held roles at Constellation and The Patrón Spirits Company.

He earned his bachelor’s from Baylor University.
