Global Spirits US, an international manufacturer and marketer of wines and spirits, has appointed Christopher Florian national chain account manager.
Florian has 17 years of experience with Anheuser-Busch InBev, the company says. Most recently, he worked national accounts calling on Ralphs Grocery Co., Food-4-Less, CVS, and Walgreens. He has held the positions of sales representative for an A-B owned distributor, as well as on-premise retail account manager in Los Angeles.
His experience also includes working as a category space coordinator for Ralphs, a category manager for Food-4-Less, and most recently as the western senior key account manager for CVS Health.
“We’re delighted to welcome Chris to our growing team,” says Max Dubossarsky, Global Spirits USA CEO, in a press release. “At this stage in our development, our brands have captured the attention of several important chains including CVS, BevMo!, Total Wines and Costco. It’s critical that we have a dedicated professional to further develop these relationships while simultaneously uncovering additional opportunities.”
Global Spirits USA owns and distributes LEAF Organic Vodkas, Khortytsa Vodkas and Odessa V.S.O.P. Brandy. The company has seen triple-digit growth in the last 12 months, it says, and continues to gain distribution throughout the North American market.
Global Spirits was established in 2008 and has operational hubs in New York, Moscow and Kiev.
