Vinum Cellars ‘V’ Series 2016 Rosé

Vinum Cellars has announced their ‘V’ Series 2016 Rosé.

This light salmon-colored rosé is made from grenache, syrah and mourvedre; the grapes are grown in Paso Robles.

Aromas include strawberry, rhubarb and floral notes, the company says, backed with acidity and lemon citrus. On the palate are flavors of ripe berry, subtle spices and earth notes, and citrus acidity.

The ABV is 13%. A total of 2,000 cases are available. The suggested retail price is $14 per 750-ml. bottle.

The ‘V’ Series 2016 Rosé pairs well with roasted beet salad and champagne vinaigrette, the company says, as well as fresh fish.
