Four Pillars Gin Bloody Shiraz

Four Pillars Gin of Australia has launched their new Bloody Shiraz gin/wine blend.

This expression combines shiraz grapes and gin to create a naturally sweetened blend. To produce such a hybrid spirit, Four Pillars Gin steeped shiraz grapes in their Rare Dry gin for eight weeks and then pressed them to release the remaining juice and alcohol that gets soaked up inside eaach berry, and then mix that back into the vat

The end result is a blend with notes of pine needles, citrus, spice and raspberry, the company says, leaving a sweet taste on the palate with a subtle spice.

The suggested retail price for Bloody Shiraz is $39.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
