Tecate Light this summer has introduced a new 7-oz. bottle 20-pack to its range of imported beer package options.
Launching in June 2018, this new pack will be available to consumers in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and select areas in California.
“The 7-oz bottle contains the perfect amount of beer to drink for all your upcoming summer celebrations,” says Gustavo Guerra, Tecate Brand Director at Heineken USA. “It’s perfect for at home parties and gatherings all season long.”
Import growth is driven primarily by Mexican imports which are growing +10%, the company says, and is the only segment showing double digit growth trends year over year since 2012.
“In our key markets nationwide, the Mexican import 7-oz package is growing +9% and is outperforming total beer 7-oz packages1,” says Guerra. “The new packaging is a relevant proposition for warmer climates and meets the needs of many on-premise accounts and events that lead to increased sampling opportunities. Plus, the convenient smaller size is perfect for outdoor occasions and other social gatherings.”
The launch of the Tecate Light 7-oz. 20 pack will be supported by features and displays across the grocery channel, POS in both English and Spanish, on-premise sampling events, and halo support from television advertising.
