Jägermeister Unveils Premium-Level Herbal Liqueur

For the first time in its history, Jägermeister has introduced a premium-level line extension in the United States: Jägermeister Manifest.

Like the original, the new herbal extract is derived from a mixture of herbs, blossoms, roots and fruits. For Jägermeister Manifest, master distillers added even more botanicals to the traditional blend of 56 natural ingredients, the company says, and increased the number of macerates from four to five. 

Manifest also undergoes a two-fold refining process in small and large oak casks for more than 12 months. It is 38% ABV.

Manifest is full-bodied with slightly sweet notes of anise and dried fruit, the company says, which give way to subtle spice and aromatic bitters, finishing in a blend of vanilla and barrel oak.

Only a limited amount of Manifest will be available in the first year.

Its new clear glass bottle features a Jägermeister emblem that underscores the tawny copper color of the liqueur, the company says.

Ideally, Jägermeister Manifest is served neat.

The limited release of Manifest will be available as of today in select on-premise accounts throughout the U.S. at a suggested retail price of $59.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
