The Presidents’ Forum Announces New Forman

The Presidents’ Forum (TPF) has selected Jonathan Yusen, managing director for William Grant & Sons Americas, as its new chairman of the board.

Yusen will serve as chairman until the 2018 term expires.

He replaces Mark Teasdale, who left his position at Proximo and post as chairman of the board of TPF earlier this month. Proximo will remain a member of TPF.

“It has been a great pleasure to be involved with the Forum and to watch it grow over the years,” says Teasdale. “I hope I will be able to again participate after I get settled at my new company. Thank you to all the members for your many contributions to the Forum at such an exciting time for the association and the industry.”

The Presidents’ Forum of the Distilled Spirits Industry is a group of leading companies with common needs and interests in manufacturing, importing and marketing distilled spirits products in the U.S. and around the world. The companies represent approximately 55 percent of all distilled spirit sales in the U.S.

“The association thanks Mark for his service as chairman and his leadership during such an important transition period,” says TPF President and CEO Matt Dogali. “We hope he will rejoin the association and participate on behalf of his new company, and we wish him the best of luck in his new venture.”

The executive committee has also voted to name Sarah Bradley, general counsel for Campari America, to the vice chair position, who began serving on the executive committee earlier this year.

The Presidents’ Forum supports distribution of alcoholic beverages through the existing three-tier system and control states as envisioned by the 21st Amendment.
