Quintessential Brands Group Announces New VP Appointment

International spirits company Quintessential Brands Group has announced the appointment of Steve Ward as VP, National Accounts and Control Board Sales for Quintessential Brands North America, as the company looks to increase its presence in the U.S.

Prior to joining the Quintessential Brands Group family, Ward led teams that launched drinks brands in the U.S., including Stella Artois, Heineken Light, Dos Equis, The Macallan Rare Cask and The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old. He previously served as VP, Division Manager, Edrington Americas, and for seven years as VP of Sales at Heineken USA.

“Steve brings to our company a wealth of industry experience and a robust commitment to achieving Quintessential Brands Group’s goals in the world’s leading consumer market,” says Bill Spann, CEO for Quintessential Brands North America. “He will play a major role in helping secure and service national and regional accounts for our strategic brands and open new channels for our QBSS products.”

Ward’s sales skills and market knowledge will be put to immediate use in helping Quintessential Brands Group build awareness of its portfolio of brands, the company says, including Bloom London Dry Gin, Thomas Dakin Small Batch Gin and Greenall’s London Dry Gin. Also he will work with the company’s Irish whiskey portfolio, which includes The Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey, as well as Irish cream, with O’Mara’s Irish Country Cream and Feeney’s Irish Cream Liqueur.
