Gehricke Wines, from 3 Badge Beverage Corporation, has added a petite sirah to its line of wines from Sonoma County.
Made with 100% petite sirah grapes, Gehricke Petite Sirah 2016 aged for 18 months in French and Hungarian oak.
The suggested retail price is $30 per 750-ml. bottle.
“Our Gehricke wines are made with minimal intervention, so that you can enjoy the truest representation of each appellation,” says August Sebastiani, president of 3 Badge Beverage Corporation. “The Sonoma Valley Petite Sirah is a bold addition with longevity for aging.”
Other Gehricke wines include Russian River Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Los Carneros Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley Zinfandel and Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. All wines are available nationally. Sales of the brand, first introduced in 2014, were up 88.9% over last year, according to Nielsen.
