Raeburn Winery Russian River Valley Rosé

Russian River Valley-based Raeburn Winery has announced the launch of its inaugural rosé wine, a blend of zinfandel, pinot noir and grenache.

The 2018 rosé joins the Raeburn portfolio, which already includes pinot noir and chardonnay. This wine was made in the Provençal style, resulting in a light salmon hue with floral and raspberry aromas, the company says. The palate brings flavors of strawberry and guava and a bright, natural acidity.

The 2018 Raeburn Rosé has a suggested retail price of $19.99 per 750-ml. bottle, and is available throughout the country.

Raeburn is part of the Purple Wine + Spirits family of brands. “With the popularity of Rosé growing consistently over the past three years, we felt it was time to craft our own, using our exceptional Pinot Noir and other quality red grapes that grow in the Russian River Valley,” says Barry Sheridan, CMO of Purple Wine + Spirits. “We’re proud to join this burgeoning category with a Rosé that demonstrates the quintessential flavors of our home in Sonoma County.”
