Rolling River Spirits has launched an all-natural vodka distilled with coffee beans from fellow Oregon company Coava Coffee Roasters, a sustainable, single-source roaster.
The result is vodka with all the flavor of coffee but none of the bitterness, the company says, with a rich and chocolaty flavor.
The finished vodka is 80 proof. There is no sugar added.
The suggested retail price is $30 per 750-ml. bottle.
“We use a darker roast to get all those amazing coffee flavors to come through,” explains Tim Rickard, head distiller for Rolling River Spirits. “Great for making Coffee Martini’s and Russian Spy cocktails.”
