Round Barn Winery Canned Red Sangria and Crantini

After 22 years of selling exclusively from its family of properties in Southwest Michigan’s wine region, Baroda-based Round Barn Winery has entered the retail channel with a canned Red Sangria and Crantini.

Inspired by the popularity of the versions served at the winery, Round Barn’s new 12-oz./355-ml. sparkling wine beverages will initially distribute to more than 150 Meijer’s stores and other regional groceries in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Both products are available now. Two additional products in the collection will release in mid-summer.

Round Barn’s new Red Sangria blends red wine made from the winery’s grapes with natural peach, cranberry and lemon concentrates to create a fruity, ready-to-drink, not-too-sweet sangria with a touch of carbonation and 5.9% alcohol, the company says. The Crantini combines white wine produced from the company’s vineyards with natural cranberry and lemon concentrates to deliver a light, bubbly libation infused with the taste of cranberries and 4.15% alcohol.

No high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or artificial flavors are in either beverage.

“Our Red Sangria and Crantini products will hit store shelves just in time for summer activities from backyard barbecues to beach, boat or golf course outings – no mixing needed,” says Matt Moersch, CEO of Moersch Hospitality Group, whose parents founded Round Barn Winery. “It’s a new chapter in a family business that has been dedicated to locally sourced wine, craft beers and spirits for more than two decades.”
