Rémy Martin Tercet Cognac

Rémy Martin has unveiled Tercet, the Cognac Champagne house’s newest permanent line extension.

Tercet means: Three lines of poetry rhyming together to form a poem. Accordingly, this new brand is “an inspiration from three artisans: Rémy Martin’s Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau, Wine Master Francis Nadeau, and Master Distiller Jean-Marie Bernard,” the company reports. The trio worked together distilling and blending this new cognac.

On the nose is fresh fruits, reminiscent of the grapes of Petite and Grande Champagne, the company reports, before a palate of fruits and spices. The finish includes a touch of toasted almond.

Rémy Martin Tercet is 84 proof, the highest of all existing Rémy Martin blends. This higher alcohol content drives the flavor and maintains the essence of the grape throughout the tasting experience, the company says.

Tercet is best served in a white Burgundy wine glass.
