Hiro Sake has debuted its first single serve glass cup sake, a term commonly used to reference this serving size.
Hiro Sake cups are 180-ml., and 15% ABV.
Hiro Sake cups will debut in Southern Florida this month at on-premise accounts initially, following to the off-premise market. Distribution will expand across the U.S. (and in Australia) by the end of 2019 and into 2020.
At retail, Hiro Cup Sake will be sold as a single item with a suggested retail price of $6.49 per cup.
Hiro Sake is 100% produced in Japan, where cup sake is a popular trend.
The single serve cups allow new consumers an easy option to try sake for the first time without committing to a full bottle, the company says, while also being a convenient product for on the go.
