Mod Sélection Réserve, Rosé

Mod Sélection Champagne, from spirits entrepreneur Brent Hocking and Drake, has announced the release of its allocated Vintage 2008 for both the Mod Sélection Réserve and Mod Sélection Rosé.

Mod Sélection Réserve Vintage 2008 has aromas of rich, ripe fruit, the company says, before a palate of orange peel, dried apricot and pineapple, plus notes of brioche, nutmeg and clove. 12% ABV. The suggested retail price is $480 per 750-ml. bottle.

Mod Sélection Rosé Vintage 2008 has a deep-salmon hue, the company says, emblematic of the Saignée method. On the palate is a focus of concentrated fresh red fruit – strawberry, blood orange and plum — followed by honey, ginger and sweet spice, all balanced by the acidity. 12% ABV. The suggested retail price is $550 per 750-ml. bottle.
