Astoria Sparkling Rosé, Sparkling Red Moscato

Prestige Beverage Group has announced the addition of Sparkling Rosé and Sparkling Red Moscato to the Astoria line of Italian wines.

A family-owned and -operated winery, the Astoria Vini estate consists of 100 hectares of vineyards among the hills in the DOCG Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area.

Astoria Sparkling Rosé has continuous fine bubbles and aromas of fresh raspberry and strawberry with white floral notes, the company reports. The wine is made up of 85% glera and 15% pinot noir with an ABV of 11%. The new Sparkling Rosé is available in both single-serve 187-ml. and 750-ml. bottles for an SRP of $5.99 and $14.99, respectively.

Sparkling Red Moscato combines soft bubbles with the fragrance of strawberries and sage, the company says. The wine is made up of 85% moscato and 15% malvasia rosso with an ABV of 7%. The new sparkling red Moscato is available in 750-ml. bottles for an SRP of $14.99.

In addition to the new varieties, Astoria debuted new packaging for its Prosecco D.O.C. in both single serve 187-ml. and 750-ml. The new look combines traditional images of the Astoria Estate with a pop of electric blue.
