Stella Artois Launches its First Seasonal Beer

Stella Artois has introduced Stella Artois Solstice Lager, the the brand’s first-ever limited-edition golden lager brewed especially for summertime.

Triple filtered, this beer has malty sweetness and zesty citrus notes, the company says, with 4.5% ABV and 105 calories per bottle. Stella Artois Solstice Lager will hit shelves nationwide, starting June 8. It will be available while supplies last, through Labor Day, Sept. 7.

A preview launch will take place May 25-May 31 in the sunny city of Phoenix.

“We are very excited for people – both in Phoenix and across the country – to try what’s soon to be the only seasonal beer they’ll want to keep drinking all summer long,” says Lara Krug, VP of marketing, Stella Artois. “Stella Artois Solstice Lager delivers a little taste of sunshine in a bottle, helping to turn any summertime moment into a special celebration, at a time where summer might not look like the usual.”

  1. Yes I want to try the new Stella summer brew too. And who is going to buy the Andeker name from Pabst and perhaps remake the beer again? It was was one of my faves years back for American suds.
