Snoop Dog’s new wine collaboration will launch this month.

Coming out on July 15, this is the first California bottling from the Australian wine brand 19 Crimes. Snoop Cali Red is a blend of Lodi-sourced petite syrah (65%), zinfandel (30%) and merlot (5%). All American oak offers a smoky component that also yields vanilla and chocolate, the company reports.

19 Crimes is a line of wines inspired by the convicts-turned-colonists who built Australia. “An icon of hip hop, Snoop embodies the same spirit of rule breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity that inspired 19 Crimes’ original cast of rebellious heroes,” the company says.

19 Crimes is also a pioneer in augmented-reality wine labels, which will be incorporated into Snoop Dog’s wine as well.

  1. 19 Crimes needs to change their name to 20 Crimes!
It should be a criminal offense to call this crap wine.
This is horrible tasting- too sweet to combine with a Syrah, tastes like it should be priced at $1.99, and come with a toy.

  2. I love this wine. It’s rich and full bodied with a lovely finish. Not to sweet not to dry. It’s a winner for the price. I’d be proud to serve it at my crib.
