The second release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2021 Collection is Booker’s Batch 2021-02 Tagalong Batch.

Each batch derives its name from a part of the company history. This batch celebrates the way that sixth-generation Master Distiller Booker Noe learned at the distillery, by “tagging along” with his grandfather, Jim Beam.

The tradition of tagging along has continued generation to generation. Seventh-generation Master Distiller Fred Noe learned much of what he knows about whiskey by following his dad’s footsteps, digesting all of the information he could while working alongside him at the distillery. It’s also a tradition Fred continues to this day with his son Freddie, and one that will be shared with future generations.

Like all batches of Booker’s Bourbon, Tagalong Batch was selected by Fred. Uncut and unfiltered, this batch is 127.9 proof. It aged six years and five months.

Booker’s Tagalong Batch has aromas of caramel and vanilla, balanced with sweet brown wood sugar notes from the charred white oak barrels, the company reports.

The suggested retail price is $89.99 for a 750-ml. bottle.

This follows the earlier 2021 release of Booker’s Donohoe’s Batch.
