Nine Banded Whiskey has launched their newest expression, Nine Banded Whiskey Cask Strength Wheated Bourbon.
This is a straight bourbon with aromas of honey, melon and dark cherries, the Austin, TX distillery reports, before a palate of graham crackers and toasted walnuts.
Additional flavor notes include toasted walnut, wildflowers and bananas foster on the nose, with roasted pears and pecans on the palate.
Nine Banded Whiskey Cask Strength Wheated Bourbon is 115 proof. The mashbill is 51% corn, 45% wheat and 4% malted barley.
This whiskey was distilled in Lawrenceburg, IN, and blended and bottled in Austin. It aged in new, charred American oak barrels.
The suggested retail price for Nine Banded Whiskey Cask Strength Wheated Bourbon is $44.99 per 750-ml. bottle. It’s available throughout Texas, with further distribution planned for later this year.
