Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and spirits entrepreneur Sammy Hagar has announced new canned ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails with Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co.
Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. debuts this month in California, Texas and Nevada, with several more states coming soon. The cocktails, made with Hagar’s Puerto Rico-made Beach Bar Rum, are available in: Tangerine Dream, Pineapple Splash, Island Pop and Cherry Kola Chill.
“Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co.’s sparkling rum cocktails will make you want to dip your toes in the sand,” says Hagar. “You’ll want to throw these cocktails in a cooler and take them to the beach, your pool party, out tailgating, and your backyard barbeque. They’re so good that they’re even going to be your favorite drink at your local bar.”
Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co.’s sparkling rum cocktails are naturally flavored, sweetened with agave and contain no added colors for a spirit that’s under 130 calories per 12-oz. can. They are 5.5% ABV.
Hagar will mark the launch of his new spirits venture with a rooftop performance overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. The performance, which will take place atop the second-story rooftop of Paris Las Vegas at BEER PARK, begins at sunset, 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 22.
Hagar will perform for approximately 30 minutes with his group The Circle, featuring fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Fame bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Vic Johnson. Fifty pairs of free tickets will go out to Hagar’s fans at redrocker.com. Registrations are being accepted now through midnight ET on Thursday, Sept. 16
