Prestige Beverage Group has announced the addition of Prosecco Rosé D.O.C to the line of Astoria Italian wines available in the U.S.
Astoria Prosecco Rosé D.O.C. is made up of 85% glera and 15% pinot noir.
The new varietal is pale pink in color with continuous fine bubbles, the company reports. It has aromas of red fruit and flowers followed by flavors of cherries and hints of strawberry, finishing creamy and balanced.
Family owned and operated, Astoria Wines is led by brothers Paolo and Giorgio Polegato. Its estate was founded in 1987 and has grown into a leading Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG wine maker. The Astoria winery-estate vineyards span 40 hectares of the Prosecco Hills, in the Veneto region in northeastern Italy, whose landscape was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2019.
Astoria’s new Prosecco Rosé D.O.C. is now available nationally through Prestige Beverage Group. The new wine joins the current Astoria wine offering in the U.S. of Prosecco D.O.C., Spago Prosecco D.O.C., “Alisia” Pinot Grigio D.O.C., “Caranto” Pinot Noir, “Icona” Cabernet Sauvignon, Primo Rosso, Sparkling Moscato and Sparkling Moscato Rosé.

Astoria Prosecco Rosé D.O.C. is available in 750-ml. bottles for an SRP of $14.99.
