The third and final release in the 2022 Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon series is C922.
Heaven Hill recently unveiled the latest details for their cask strength wheated bourbon line. Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon C922 is 126.6 proof, making it the highest-ABV of the year, beating out the A122 at 124.4 proof and the B522 at 128.8.
Each release in this annual series ages six to eight years, bottled straight from the barrel. The proof and flavors vary by release, but the mash bill remains the same: 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley.
The high-wheat recipe lends itself to sweeter, smoother flavors.
The “C” in the C922 name is the third in a three-part A, B, C release series. The “9” represents the month released, September. The “22” at the end stands for the year.
Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon C922 rolls out nationwide for a suggested retail price of $59.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
