La Grande Dame Rosé 2012 by Veuve Clicquot

La Grande Dame Rosé 2012 is 90% pinot noir, coming mainly from the historic Grand Crus of the terroir.  

The rest of the blend is 10% chardonnay (Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger).

On the nose, you’ll find floral notes, evolving towards warmer, more spicy notes, the company reports. The palate is red fruits (gooseberry, cherry, cranberry) bread, brioche, spices and coffee and smoky notes.

The suggested retail price is $310 per 750-ml. bottle.
