Tröegs Independent Brewing has announced the release of The Most Wonderful Beer of the Year, a variety pack meant for the holiday season.
The focal point of this 12-pack is the independent brewery’s holiday ale, Mad Elf. It’s brewed with five varieties of cherries and Pennsylvania wildflower honey.
Joining Mad Elf this year are three beers exclusive to the pack: Naked Elf, a stripped-down version of Mad Elf without the cherries, honey and chocolate malt; Gingerbread Cookie Stout, a chewy, dark beer that harkens back to grandma’s cookie recipes; and for the first time in cans, Mad Dreams, a blend of Mad Elf and the year-round DreamWeaver Wheat.
“This pack is all about celebrating with family and friends,” says Tröegs co-founding brother Chris Trogner. “It’s a taste of the holidays all wrapped up in one convenient box!”
For IPA lovers, Tröegs also offers its rotating Perpetual Exploration variety 12-pack. The current pack for winter includes four of its hoppy offerings: Perpetual IPA, the best-selling craft beer in Pennsylvania; the year-round Graffiti Highway IPA; the LolliHop Double IPA; and the brewery’s longest-running seasonal beer, Blizzard of Hops Winter IPA.
Both variety packs are available now at Tröegs Brewery and across its entire distribution footprint.
This follows the recent release of Tröegs Oktoberfest Lager.
