Hendrick’s Gin has launched OASIUM, its latest entry from master distiller Lesley Gracie’s Cabinet of Curiosities.
This limited release reimagines Hendrick’s through a blend of green botanicals, herbs and a touch of citrus. Gracie drew inspiration from an expedition to a desert oasis, the company says.
“I find endless inspiration in my surroundings, and every time I see the palm trees in the Hendrick’s Gin Palace, I’m transported back to this extraordinary trip,” says Gracie. “It was such a remarkable journey that I had to capture it in a gin, preserving the memory forever. As someone who’s always in search of new flavors, it was fascinating to see what plants grow and thrive in an oasis. There’s a very distinct, fresh green character and bright citrus note to Hendrick’s OASIUM, rounded off by aromatic herbs that play delightfully well together. ”
Utilizing the Hendrick’s Gin as a base and building on its infusions of rose and cucumber, OASIUM adds a blend of citrus and herbal notes, desert-inspired botanicals. Flavors include aromatic herbs, culminating in a finish with a zesty twist, according to the distillery.
“Hendrick’s OASIUM transports you to a refreshing sanctuary and each sip reveals layers of botanical intrigue,” says Vance Henderson, Hendrick’s Gin national ambassador. “Its versatility shines brilliantly in cocktails – whether elevating a classic Gin & Tonic with our signature cucumber garnish or delivering a tangy thrill in the OASIUM Fizz. Fresh grapefruit juice complements the gin’s vibrant notes, resulting in a divine twist reminiscent of a Paloma, perfect for all manners of gathering together under sun or stars.”
OASIUM comes in the Hendrick’s signature apothecary-style bottle, this time with an orange label. As with all releases from the Cabinet of Curiosities, just one limited-edition expression is released at a time.
Hendrick’s OASIUM is bottled at 43.4% ABV with a suggested retail price of $39.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
