Blue Moon Brewing Co. has expanded its portfolio with Blue Moon Extra, a new high-ABV offering that follows the flavor of its flagship Belgian White Belgian-Style Wheat Ale.
This comes as higher-ABV beers and Ready to Drink offerings have become an emerging trend.
Blue Moon Extra is an 8% ABV beer that is brewed with the Valencia orange peel and coriander flavor like the Belgian-Style Wheat Ale.
“Blue Moon is continuing to find ways to make every beer occasion brighter through its offerings, and now fans can enjoy the signature brightness of the Belgian-Style Wheat Ale brewed bolder with Blue Moon Extra,” says Chris Steele, senior director marketing, Blue Moon at Molson Coors. “Blue Moon Extra offers beer drinkers a high-ABV option to enjoy this spring with the flavor they know and love, without being too hop-forward.”
Blue Moon Extra is available now in 19.2-oz. cans at stores nationwide. Beer drinkers looking to try the new high-ABV option can use the product locator to find it at their closest retailer.
This new extends Blue Moon’s line of beers alongside the original Blue Moon, Blue Moon Light and Blue Moon Non-Alcoholic.
