The era of canned cocktails continues with Bacardí’s latest innovation: Bacardí Real Rum Cocktails.
The base spirit in these ready-to-drink beverages is Bacardí Superior Rum. The initial three flavors are: Bacardí Lime & Soda, Bacardí Limon & Lemonade and Bacardí Rum Punch.
Unlike other RTDS, Bacardí Real Rum Cocktails are not malt beverages. They are gluten-free rum cocktails made with real ingredients like cane sugar and natural flavors, the company says.
“The spirit-based cocktail segment is the fastest growing category within the spirits industry and traditionally, Bacardí has played really well in that space,” says Lisa Pfenning, VP, Bacardí for North America. “For anyone who may not be an at-home budding bartender, our new Real Rum Cocktails combine convenience and quality without the hassle of bar tools or recipes. Just chill, pop and serve.”
Beginning this May, Bacardí Real Rum Cocktails will be available in 4-packs of slim 355-ml. cans, for a suggested retail price of $12.99 per pack.
This follows the recent release from the global drinks company, Bacardí Lime Flavored Rum.
