Heaven Hill has launched Larceny Barrel Proof A124, the first of three expressions for this popular cask-strength bourbon series in 2024.
The brand’s high-wheat recipe lends itself to sweeter, smoother flavors.
Larceny Barrel Proof A124 is 124.2 proof.
The “A” in the name is the first in a three-part A, B, C release sequence. The “1” represents the month released, January, while the “24” at the end stands for the year. This naming conventions is standard across all releases in the yearly series.
The next two bottlings are expected in May and September of 2024.
Like each batch, this expression is an uncut small batch bourbon aged six to eight years, bottled straight from the barrel. Heaven Hill Distillery’s wheated bourbon mashbill is 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley.
This follows the recent releases of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof C923 and Larceny Barrel Proof C923, both of which landed on many “Best Whiskey of 2023” lists.
Larceny Barrel Proof is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $64.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
