Walsh Whiskey Distillery has released its 2017 vintage of The Irishman Cask Strength.
The release is limited, with 3,510 bottles available in select global markets and travel retail.
The Irishman Cask Strength 2017 is 54% ABV. Each bottle is uniquely numbered and signed by Walsh Whiskey founder Bernard Walsh.
The Irishman Cask Strength 2017 is a vatting of Single Pot Still & Single Malt, matured in first-fill bourbon casks. Non chill-filtered, it was bottled in August 2017 and is presented in a wood cask.
The Irishman Cask Strength 2017 has notes of woody spices combined with summer fruits, the company reports, plus notes of toasted almonds and bourbon oak, followed tones of dried fruit and raisins.
The suggested retail price is $145 per 750-ml. bottle.
