Hornitos Tequila has debuted its first TV commercial as part of the new, fully integrated “A Shot Worth Taking” campaign that embraces the brand’s shot-taking spirit and “celebrates those who take their shot in life,” the company says.
Created by The Community for Hornitos, the TV spots debuted this week in the U.S. and will continue to air through summer.
The TV, print, OOH and social elements of the campaign tell the stories of shot-takers in “the moment they step outside their comfort zone — like quitting a job, going on stage to perform or kissing a crush — to achieve something truly meaningful in their lives,” the company says.
Hornitos was founded in 1950 in honor of Mexican Independence Day. Its recent innovations include the whiskey barrel-aged Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila, and the filtered añejo Hornitos Cristalino.
